Annual Triangle Parade of Homes Kicks off this Weekend!

Parade of Homes is an annual event that showcases new home building and decorating trends for the year. In a nutshell, it’s the Triangle’s largest open house event with new homes in new communities spanning across Wake, Durham, Orange, and Chatham counties. The Parade attracts people from all over, whether they are serious home buyers or just want to admire some of the beautiful homes and maybe grab a design idea or two.

The Parade of Homes is a free event that is open to the public and is self guided. During the Parade, you have the opportunity to view over 250 brand new homes from $170,000 all the way up to $2 Million. The Parade starts October 1st-2nd and then runs October 7th-9th, and October 14th-16th. The homes featured on the tour will be open from 12PM-5PM on those days.

Now you are probably wondering, “how do I find these fabulous homes?” This year is special! They are not featuring a Parade of Homes app that you can download for free on your Apple or Android devices. This app allows you to filter homes you would like to see, plan your route, and check to see if certain homes are closed for any reason. There is another option for the less techie people! You can pick up a Parade book at various locations! For Wake County residents, you can get your free book here. For Durham, Orange, and Chatham County residents you can choose from one of these locations. The books will also be available in the homes while supplies last.

We hope that you all get out and enjoy these magnificent homes and appreciate all the hard work the builders put into them. Click here for some tips to maximize your Parade experience! For more information visit the Triangle Parade of Homes website!
